Preventive and anti-crime activities in the Province of Monza and Brianza.

As part of the ordinary and extraordinary territorial control services carried out in the Province of Monza and Brianza, the Carabinieri Companies of Desio, Monza and Seregno, through the dependent Stations and Operational and Radiomobile Units, were engaged in the following operational activities.

DESIO AND LISSONE

In Desio and Lissone, the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Desio carried out a crime prevention and combating widespread crime service. 44 people were identified and 30 vehicles in transit were checked.

Two young people were reported to the Prefecture for possession of narcotic substances, a 22-year-old resident of Bovisio Masciago found in possession of gr. 1,5 of hashish and a 27-year-old of Pakistani origins, domiciled in Seregno, who held half a gram of the same narcotic substance.
Furthermore, three administrative sanctions were imposed of the unit amount of €543 against the same number of drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol: a 46-year-old from Bollate with a blood alcohol level of 0,75 g/l, a 44-year-old from Lodi with a blood alcohol level of 0,59 g/l and a 42-year-old from the province of Lecco, with a blood alcohol level of 0,80 g/l. At the same time as the fine was imposed, the driving licenses were immediately withdrawn, which will be sent to the competent Prefecture for evaluation of the suspension period.

ARCORE

In Arcore, a 40-year-old Moroccan resident in Cislago (VA) was arrested, in execution of the execution order for imprisonment, sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment for the crime of deforming the appearance of the person through permanent injuries to the face (deed committed to Milano in August 2020).

The offender was tracked down at a construction site where he was working, and was taken to the Monza prison.

CARNATE

In Carnate, the soldiers of the Vimercate Radiomobile Section intervened at a commercial establishment where a lively disagreement had been reported between two people.

RONCO BRIANTINO

Following identification, the officers proceeded to arrest a 40-year-old Romanian, resident in Ronco Briantino (MB), against whom there was a pending execution order for imprisonment, having been definitively sentenced to a penalty of 6 months' imprisonment, for the crime of violation of family assistance obligations.

In the same context, the other person involved in the dispute, a 26-year-old Moroccan, homeless in Italy, was referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office in a state of freedom for the crime of illegal residence on the national territory.

SEREGNO

In Seregno, a 45-year-old local man already known to the Command was released into a state of freedom for receiving stolen goods and illicit possession of narcotic substances, as, following a search
personal and vehicular, was found in possession of a mobile phone of illicit origin and gr. 0,70 of cocaine.

CESANO MADERNO

Furthermore, a 28-year-old resident of was sanctioned with the withdrawal of his driving license Cesano Maderno, caught driving a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of 0,75 g/l, in Albiate, a 48-year-old resident of Sovico, the latter at the same time handed over to custody for driving a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of 1,12 .XNUMX g/l.

SLOW ON THE SEVESO

In Lentate sul Seveso, the soldiers of the local station, together with their colleagues from the Meda station, have handed over an 18-year-old Albanian resident in Lentate sul Seveso, a 17-year-old Italian resident in Locate Varesino (CO), a 14 year old Italian resident in Carbonate (CO).

The three, aboard a car which had been found stolen a few days earlier, together with a fourth person still being identified, were involved in a road accident with another vehicle following which, instead of providing aid to the injured people, they gave themselves to escape, reaching the local train station, where they were tracked down and identified.

GIUSSANO

In Giussano, a 48-year-old resident in Figino Serenza (CO) was administratively sanctioned for "disturbing drunkenness", who entered a public establishment in a clear state of alteration due to the abuse of alcoholic beverages and caused disturbance to the patrons and service staff of the venue.
It should be noted that all the suspects are to be considered innocent until a final conviction is reached.
