Portogruaro (Venice), initiative by the State Police for the elimination of violence against women

In view of the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women”, the Venice State Police will be present with the initiative called “… This is not love”.

Next November 21st, in Piazza del Duomo, in the historic centre of Portogruaro, on the occasion of the weekly market day, the State Police will set up an information gazebo with police officers from the Anti-Crime Police Division of the Venice Police Headquarters and the local Police Station, as well as other figures from the Portogruaro “anti-violence network”.

Everyone is invited to the initiative where it will be possible to find information material, useful contacts and, above all, exchange any useful information and dialogue with the figures involved.

Through this initiative, the State Police wants to get closer to citizens and promote knowledge of services and help desks, as well as provide useful tools for preventing and combating violence against women.

Among the participating entities that have joined the initiative in the program, also the Municipality of Portogruaro, the Cooperativa L'Arco - listening center of Portogruaro, the ULSS nr. 4 "Veneto Orientale", the Order of Lawyers of Portogruaro, as well as the schools of the territory.
