Pordenone, state police: entered Italy violating the regulations to contain the spread of contagion from the covid-19 virus. Romanian driver and passengers in trouble
Pordenone, The Pordenone Traffic Police Section is intensifying checks relating to the obligations to limit the spread of contagion from the Covid-19 Virus.
This is to safeguard public health and be able to allow circulation in compliance with the dictates of the law, as carrying out effective controls entails the possibility of limiting the spread of the virus.
Keeping our guard up in this peculiar moment of perceived weakening of the emergency state allows us to avoid the onset of clusters and epidemic outbreaks.
Last weekend, along the A28, near the Pordenone junctions, officers stopped a van used for the transport of people of Moldovan nationality with 7 people on board.
From what has been ascertained, the driver who left Romania had crossed Hungary, Slovenia, entering Italy from the Gorizia border crossing.
The passengers immediately showed an unusual nervousness which pushed the police to carry out further checks and in particular to verify whether the requirements for containing the spread of the Covid-19 virus were being respected.
After carefully checking the seven passengers, it was immediately apparent that they had not complied with the requirements imposed by current legislation for entry into Italian territory, consequently they were fined with a total administrative fine of €4266,64 and reported to the health authorities for the necessary obligations.
