Pordenone, police commissioner orders the closure of "commercial bars" for 75 days, warns three other bars in the city and issues four "urban notices" with a ban on frequenting public establishments in the city center

Pordenone, at 9 am today, Thursday 17 June, Agents of the Administrative Police and Security Office and of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office - Flying Squad of the Pordenone Police Headquarters carried out the prevention and public safety measures ordered by the Police Commissioner of the Province of Pordenone Marco Odorisio.
The Agents then first went to the "Bar Commercio", where they closed the public establishment located in Via Santa Caterina for 75 days, following a series of investigations and investigations concerning the episode which occurred at 18.30 pm on Monday 14th. June us
In particular, the police ascertained that around 17.00 pm, the 26-year-old Albanian citizen resident in the city had arrived at the bar already in the throes of a strong and evident state of drunkenness. Nonetheless, he was given further spirits, in contravention of the provisions of the art. 691 CP (Supply of alcoholic beverages to a person in a state of obvious drunkenness), so much so that the young man, for trivial reasons, attributable to a rejected cigarette, hit a Pakistani customer in the eye, who reported a prognosis of four days.
The police officers then investigated the facts, obtaining summary information from people involved in various capacities in the affair, ascertaining how the young Albanian perpetrator of the attack, at 11.00 am on the same morning of Monday 14 June, together with a compatriot, had started an "alcoholic tour" in three venues in the city centre, ordering numerous alcoholic drinks in each of these bars, immediately getting drunk and spending a few hundred euros.

Having reconstructed these facts, the Police Commissioner of the Province of Pordenone therefore ordered and had three warnings issued this morning against the owners of the three bars in the city centre, which contributed to determining the state of drunkenness of the 26-year-old Albanian, which then culminated at 18.30 pm with the attack on the Pakistani citizen outside the "Commerce Bar".
Likewise, the Police Commissioner therefore sent the proposal to revoke the license for the "Bar Commercio" to the Municipality of Pordenone on the morning of Thursday 17 June, in compliance with the regulatory requirements pursuant to art. 100 c. 2 TULPS: in fact, the Police Commissioner of the Province of Pordenone had already suspended the license of the "Bar Commercio" for 30 days with a provision dated 25 January 2018.
And again, in the same morning, the Police Officers notified the provision issued by the Police Commissioner of the Province of Pordenone of "urban DASPO" pursuant to art. 13 bis DL n. 113 of 2018 against four citizens residing in the city, with a ban on access and parking for a period of 2 years in public establishments used for the administration of food and drinks located in via Santa Caterina, Viale Trento, Viale Trieste, Viale Cossetti, Piazza Risorgimento, viale Libertà, viale Dante, via Cavallotti, via Brusafiera, piazzale Ellero, Piazza XX Settembre, Piazza Cavour, via Mazzini, corso Vittorio Emanuele and corso Garibaldi.

On this point, the Police Commissioner highlighted how "in the last two episodes occurred, one in Piazza Risorgimento with the smash-up on Thursday 10 June at 3.00 am to the detriment of the telephone shop "K2 Phone Center & Internet Point" and the unilateral attack at 18.30 pm on Monday 14 June, the common denominator was the ascertained immoderate consumption of spirits in public establishments in the city: the two boys from Pordenone involved in the incident, in addition to admitting the charges, also reconstructed an evening spent with two girls in different clubs in the centre, with hard alcohol drinks which then led to a state of serious alteration, leading to the commission of the split.
Also in the episode of the attack at the "Bar Commercio" the attacker acted in a state of drunkenness on a nine-hour "alcoholic tour", where he purchased alcohol worth hundreds of euros in bars.
It is clear that in these two episodes there is a problem attributable to an exaggerated administration of spirits, which then determined the events in question.
The territorial control devices promptly gave an almost instantaneous response, contextualising and identifying the authors of the two episodes within a few hours, giving an immediate response to the citizens.
The Police Headquarters is always careful to listen to reports arriving from the area, however it is important to underline that the reports relating to Piazza Risorgimento and neighboring streets are minimal and perfectly in line with other urban areas, so much so that the same resident in the area who complains about situations of inconvenience has never reported anything to the Police Headquarters or other bodies, as the only report was the one received in February 2018 relating to a road accident that occurred in Piazza Risorgimento.
The Police Commissioner thanks the citizens of Pordenone and the Province for their high sense of civic duty, legality and participatory security, which places the Destra Tagliamento at the top of the rankings in terms of quality of life and livability.
We will continue to listen to the area, to receive and examine all the requests and reports that reach us, giving our immediate responses in terms of concrete and real safety for citizens and the community".
