The measure restricting personal freedom was adopted because the man, despite having already been subjected to the precautionary measure of prohibiting him from approaching places frequented by his ex-partner (a 45-year-old foreign woman), he reached her home with the desire to meet her. Here he was identified by the military of the Arma who, having ascertained the violation, they arrested in flagrante delicto.

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Rieti, immediately informed of what happened, requested the adoption of a more severe precautionary measure, later ordered by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations. The man has now been placed under house arrest and cannot leave his home without prior authorization.
