Pineto: two State Police operators save 5 people from a burning building.

A bad adventure for the condominiums of a building in the town of Pineto which, without the intervention of the State Police patrol, Traffic Police Detachment, could have ended in tragedy.
A few days ago, around 20.00 pm, the two operators of the Traffic Police Detachment, passing through Via De Titta, noticed a person making very conspicuous gestures with his arms and the escape of abundant black smoke from a small building.

Without having a moment's hesitation, the two policemen covered their airways with wet clothing and entered the building, made up of 3 apartments, to check for the presence of people inside. They immediately noticed flames on the building's electric meter panel.

Despite the dense cloud of black smoke, which almost completely prevented visibility, and the acrid smell of the fire, the two policemen met a 61-year-old lady on the stairs and accompanied her into the street.
Subsequently, they entered the first apartment in which there was a family made up of a young couple and a 5-year-old child.

The two policemen, after having picked up the child and made way for the parents up the stairs with their bodies, also accompanied the three of them into the street.
Finally, they re-entered the building and rescued another 56-year-old gentleman, who was stuck in the last apartment.
Fortunately, none of the people involved in the accident, apart from a huge scare, suffered any consequences.
