Novate Milanese: the fight degenerates and the father stabs his son in the chest, 73-year-old arrested by the Carabinieri

On the evening of 2 October 2024, at approximately 19 pm, the Carabinieri of the Novate Milanese (MI) Station and of the Radiomobile Section of the Rho (MI) Company, arrested for attempted murder un 73 year old Italian, uncensored.

The Carabinieri intervened at the man's home in Novate Milanese (MI) following an argument between the 73 year old and the 45 year old cohabiting son, also with no criminal record, who accused his father of having abused alcoholThe argument then degenerated, culminating in the 45-year-old being injured, stabbed in the chest by his father.

The Carabinieri, who arrived promptly on the scene, tracked down the 73-year-old near the house, also with a head wound caused by his son during the fight.

Following the intervention of medical personnel, the 45-year-old was then transported to red code at the San Gerardo hospital in Monza from which he was subsequently discharged with a 20 day prognosis for penetrating chest wound with pneumothorax, potentially lethal; the 73-year-old was instead treated at the Sacco hospital in Milano, from which he was discharged with a 7 day prognosis for Traumatic Brain Injury and subsequently subjected to the regime of arrest available to the Judicial Authority.

The knife used for the wounding was subjected to seizure.
