Naples: first threatens and attacks his mother, then lashes out at the police. 47-year-old arrested.

Last evening, officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid, during their territorial control service, following a note received by the local Operations Room, intervened to report a disturbing individual in the Borgo Sant'Antonio Abate area.

The police, who promptly arrived on site, went to the reported apartment where they surprised a man who was violently throwing himself at furniture and furnishings and then also damaging the front door; the officers, therefore, attempted to bring the aforementioned person back to calm but he continued his violent conduct until he was stopped.

In those circumstances, the operators were approached by a woman, who in the meantime had taken refuge in the home of an acquaintance, who she said she had been attacked by her son who, as had already happened on previous occasions, had threatened and physically attacked her.

For these reasons, the suspect, identified as a 47-year-old Neapolitan with a police record, he was arrested for domestic violence and resistance to a public official.
