The Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Desio, in the early hours of last Sunday, interrupted the start of a "rave party" organized inside one of the cinema rooms of the "Magic Movie Park" of Muggiò (MB), a dilapidated abandoned building for years, which extends over 21 thousand square meters, a destination for vandals, drifters and drug addicts.
The participants in the initiative, around a hundred young people, including several minors, met via a well-known social channel. Upon the arrival of the soldiers, the young people immediately disappeared, taking advantage of the numerous escape routes that the vast structure favors.
Fourteen young people were identified and released in a state of freedom for building invasion, including some minors. The musical equipment used was seized.
One participant, as a result of the use of narcotic substances, required medical treatment and was rescued and transported to hospital by the 118 medical personnel requested on site.
The event was unauthorized and there were no security measures to protect public safety. In this regard, investigations are underway aimed at identifying, in addition to the others present, also the organizers who will have to answer for the new violations issued with the recently introduced "anti-rave" decree.
