Muggiò, (MB): 19-year-old resident of Pavia was released in a state of freedom accused of receiving stolen goods.
The Carabinieri of the Muggiò station have released a man in a state of freedom 19 year old resident in the province of Pavia, held responsible for the crime of receiving stolen goods.
The investigation arose from an intervention carried out on the evening of February 5th, when 112 was notified of a Volkswagen Golf car which, after carrying out some reckless maneuvers through the streets of the town, had ended his run against the fence of a house.
The immediate intervention of a patrol on territory control duty allowed the military to intercept the driver of the vehicle as he was walking away from the accident site.
From subsequent investigations, it emerged that the car had been stolen at the beginning of January in Modena.
In the trunk, they were burglary tools found and seized and dozens of bags containing coins of various denominations, with a total value of almost €5.000. The vehicle was recovered and returned to the owner.
Investigations are underway to establish the origin of the money which, given the circumstances, is presumed to be illicit.
It is specified that the suspect is to be considered innocent until a possible final conviction.
