Modica: execution order for the imprisonment of a 23-year-old from Scicli for domestic abuse.

The Carabinieri of the local station have followed up on an order of execution for imprisonment, issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office - Criminal Enforcement Office - at the Court of Ragusa, against a 23-year-old local man, single, unemployed and with police records against him.

The measure arises following the revocation of the decree with which the same Office had previously suspended the detention. Reason why the subject of operational interest, due to the continuous mistreatment perpetrated within the family environment which was also configured through extortionate attitudes carried out continuously, was taken to the Ragusa District Prison, where he will serve a sentence of 2 years and 8 months of imprisonment.

The young man was the recipient of today's provision due to the conduct he carried out in the period between June 2021 and October 2022. Also in this case the Carabinieri's operational tool allowed the Prosecutor's Office to have the necessary elements to make a request for issuing the provision in question to the competent Office.
