Milano, uses a taxi to deal: the State Police arrests a 45-year-old

Milano, the State Police arrested a 45-year-old Italian citizen for possession for the purpose of dealing drugs.

The agents of the investigative team of the Lorenteggio police station, following an investigative activity, identified a taxi driver, owner of
regularly licensed, directly involved in drug dealing in the Baggio area.

The information collected by the police made it possible to ascertain that the man, aboard his taxi, stopped especially in the evening and night hours in the places
of the neighborhood known for the presence of groups dedicated to illicit activities. Subsequent investigations made it possible to ascertain how the taxi driver had become a
"reference point" for many drug users in the area and some customers in the city centre.

Monday morning, officers stopped the 45-year-old while he was on board his vehicle and found 10 grams of cocaine divided into doses, ready for
be sold. All the drug packages were hidden in a personal computer bag inside the taxi.

From the subsequent search of the house, the investigators of the Lorenteggio police station found another 40 in a cavity in the laundry room.

“blocks” of drugs.
Inside the bedroom, a small customer ledger was found with names and numbers, with various banknotes inside for a total of 3.470
euro.
