Milano, thefts in luxury apartments: the State Police arrests the entire gang
Milano, the State Police of Milano, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the ordinary Court of Milano, as part of an investigative activity carried out in
against a group of Bosnian Roma citizens dedicated to committing thefts and robberies, executed a precautionary custody order in prison,
issued by the GIP Dr. Giulio FANALES, and to a measure of arrest of a crime suspect ordered by the Public Prosecutor in charge of the investigations Dr. Francesca CRUPI with the
coordination of the Deputy Prosecutor Dr. Laura PEDIO.
The suspects, five in total, including a Romanian woman (Romanian MRA aged 28), are seriously suspected of several burglaries in apartments in the central areas of Milano,
were stopped by agents of the 2nd section of the Flying Squad Milano, for having committed a theft at a house in via Quadrio last 6 June.
In particular, while two of them (the woman together with HC Serbian 24 vanni) carried out the function of "post" on the public road, remaining in telephone contact
with accomplices, three others (KS 44 years old, Serbian MS 24 years old and Croatian RL 26 years old) entered the apartment after forcing a trapdoor
positioned on the landing of the top floor which gives access to the roof and then lowered from the balcony belonging to the house and entering through the window by forcing it.
Once inside, they took possession of valuable watches, bags, jewels and cash worth around 150.000 euros.
The entire sequence was filmed by video surveillance cameras outside the building which, together with the detailed analysis by the investigators of the
Flying Squad, through technical aids and services in the area, made it possible to fully identify the perpetrators of the theft, who were extremely skilled and operational on
the entire national territory.
Two of the members of the gang had already been arrested by Flying Squad agents last February 8th because they were responsible for another theft at a
luxury apartment in the center of Milano, together with two other accomplices.
