Milano, theft and counterfeit documents: three men arrested

In recent days the State Police has arrested 3 men inside the Milanese railway stations, including two minors for the crime of conspiracy theft and a man in possession of a false identity document.

During specific anti-pickpocketing services, inside the station Milano Repubblica, Railway Police officers arrested two Romanian minors aged 15 and 16 in flagrante delicto, responsible for a theft against a woman from whom they stole her wallet containing around 500 euros in cash and various documents.

The two minors, at the disposal of the Juvenile Court of Milano, were associated with a first reception center available to the Judicial Authority.

In the station Milano Centrally, however, a 53-year-old Tunisian citizen was arrested who, when checked by the officers, was found in possession of an Italian identity card, valid for travel abroad and later found to be false due to a number of paper longer than normal. The police carried out further checks using a special scanner, which confirmed the falsity of the document which, moreover, was found to contain the indication of a non-existent residential address.
