Milano, murder in Via Warsaw: the three men who were fleeing after the punitive expedition against the 18 year old were caught.

The alleged killers of Johnny Sulejmanovic have been arrested, 18enne Turin (of Bosnian origins) killed with three gunshots, on the night between 25 and 26 April, while he was sleeping in his van in via Warsaw a Milano, vegetable market area.

A total of four men are under investigation for what the investigating judge said Milano Ileana Ramundo defined in the precautionary custody order in prison as “a planned and organized punitive expedition”.

The Flying Squad arrested Roberto Ahmetovic, 33 years old, his 38 year old brother-in-law Yagovar Ahmetovic e Rubino Sulejmanovic, 35 years.

A fourth man has not yet been located, while a fifth involved in the attack and caught on camera he is not yet identified. The small group would show up in the middle of the night in front of the Fiat Ducato van in which the victim was sleeping with his wife.

After breaking the glass with some bars and sticks, they would start shooting. While the woman managed to escape, three shots hit the 18-year-old in vital areas, leaving him no escape. When help arrived, there was nothing left to do.

According to what was reconstructed during the investigations coordinated by prosecutor Pasquale Addesso, the crime would have been committed after an argument that had occurred in the street only a few hours earlier.

The judge observes that “there is no doubt” that the ambush was organized by Roberto Ahmetovic, As Johnny had it “confronted and heavily beaten” around half past midnight. An argument which, in part, was also caught on camera. At that point the group decided to take revenge: “Each of the participants – writes the investigating judge – played a decisive and purposefully oriented role in fatally attacking the very young victim".

Before fleeing, the four they also managed to get hold of a gold necklace, a bracelet and the sum of 4 thousand euros kept inside the van. For this reason they are all also accused of aggravated robbery in competition.

To trace the alleged perpetrators of the crime, the testimonies from Johnny's wife and relatives, as well as images of surveillance cameras, both before and after the shooting.

The investigating judge writes that the murder has occurred "in a escalation of unprecedented violence if you compare it to the apparent triggering effect, i.e. a bare-knuckle fight". Arrangements have been made for all four suspects pre-trial detention in prison.
