Milano, the State Police, as part of the services aimed at repressing drug trafficking in the province of Milano, in the night between last Friday and Saturday, arrested three people of Turkish origin for the detention of 15 kg of heroin for the purpose of trafficking.
The policemen of the Flying Squad of Milano, during the investigative activity, had acquired the news that, on Friday afternoon, foreign citizens had imported a large quantity of narcotics into the Milanese territory on board a black Volkswagen Tiguan, coming from the A1 motorway. The agents of the Anti-Drug Section have therefore set up a patrol service on the motorway at the height of the barrier Milano South where, among the vehicles crossing the motorway stretch, they noticed the black car in which there were three people.
The police called a halt and checked the vehicle entering the Milan area, shortly after the motorway toll booth: upon request for identification documents, the three men, one living in Milano, one in Alessandria and one in Pordenone, immediately showed particular agitation, typical of those who had something to hide. In fact, inside the trunk of the car, the Anti-Drug Section agents found, placed in a cardboard box, 12 blocks and another six modest-sized wrappers of pure heroin for a total weight of 12,5 kg. The three also had almost 2 thousand euros in cash which was seized.
From the investigations carried out by the Flying Squad policemen, it emerged that one of the Turkish citizens was the owner of a wholesale meat supply company for "kebab" places in the Milan area. The subsequent search carried out at the trader's company, with the aid of the drug-sniffing dog of the General Prevention Office of the Police Headquarters of Milano, allowed us to find another 2,5 kg. of heroin hidden in an old industrial oven and 12 thousand euros in cash in a box. A further 5 thousand euros in cash were found in the man's home. The three arrested were associated with the San Vittore prison at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority of Lodi and Milano.
