Milano, on the morning of Friday 16 April 2021, in Cormano, the Carabinieri of the Sesto San Giovanni Company have executed a precautionary custody order under house arrest, issued by the investigating judge of Monza, against 2 investigated (an Italian, born in 1997, and a Moldovan, born in 2000), held responsible for the crimes of threatening, damaging and carrying explosive material.

The investigations, conducted by the CC Station of Cusano Milanino and coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Monza, were started following the explosion of a paper bomb which occurred on the night of 15 May 2020 inside the tunnel in Via Mazzini. The explosion of the homemade bomb, positioned near the window of a hairdressing salon and triggered on site by the perpetrators, seriously damaged the shop's window.

During the investigative activity, the military managed to identify both those responsible for the criminal action, also identifying the car used for the journey, managing to map the route through the study and analysis of telephone records. The house searches, delegated by the Judicial Authority, made it possible to find, in the possession of the suspects, the clothes worn during the event and to find, also through the examination of the mobile phones used by them, further and important incriminating elements. of two.

The motive for the intimidating gesture is to be found in a deposition that, in the following month of June, the owner of the business was supposed to give as a witness in a criminal proceeding in which the two arrested were accused of the crime of personal injury aggravated against two peers, for events that occurred in 2018 Milano in the presence of the woman. The intuition of the Commander of the local station was decisive for the successful outcome of the investigation activities, who, remembering the notification made to the woman some time ago regarding the summons, managed to direct the first investigative investigations on the two men, hypothesizing that they may have acted with the clear intention of making the woman desist from testifying against them.

Once the formalities were completed, the two subjects were taken back by the military to their respective homes, where they will remain under house arrest.
