In recent days, during one of the checks carried out by the local police in public residential houses, in via Aretusa 1, the agents of the Zone 7 Command, together with the GOAC (anti-counterfeiting operational group) of the local police, found, well hidden in a cellar, twenty bicycles and seven electric scooters probably stolen. Next to bicycles and scooters, all apparently new or almost new, hidden among rubbish and broken furniture, a bag with 7 kilos of hashish and 120 grams of cocaine.
In the next few days the photos of the bikes and scooters will be published by the local police on the Facebook page managed by the Stolen Bike Unit so that they can be claimed by the legitimate owners and, subject to authorization from the Judicial Authority, returned.
“The local police are intensifying checks in public housing – declares Marco Granelli, councilor for security -. It has quadrupled its interventions to combat illegal occupations of apartments and, in concert with MM and ALER, wants to pay ever more attention to common spaces such as courtyards, cellars, attics, to return them safely to citizens".
