Tuesday afternoon at Milano, the State Police arrested a 44-year-old Italian citizen with a criminal record for possession for the purpose of trafficking of narcotic substances.
Around 16pm, the patrol officers from the Sempione police station, during their normal territorial control service, passing through via Mantegna noticed a man on a scooter stopped outside a bar, who, at the sight of the officers, tried to move away to elude the police check..
At Via Lomazzo, after a brief chase during which the man got rid of a wrapper, the officers stopped the 44-year-old and recovered the package containing 10 doses of cocaine; the man was instead found in possession of another dose of cocaine, a precision scale and the sum of 90 euros while at the 44-year-old's home, the policemen in Viale Certosa found and seized approximately 1kg of cutting substance, packaging material, a precision scale, a diary presumably used for the sale and a dog-repellent pistol without a red cap with the relevant ammunition.
Furthermore, at the end of the investigations, the 44-year-old was also fined for being found driving the motorcycle without the required driving license, while the scooter was found to be under administrative seizure and without insurance coverage.
