Maxi seizure of illegal fireworks in Palestrina: 441 pieces for 130kg of gunpowder found.
On Friday afternoon, in the municipality of Palestrina, within the scope of the activity of Rome police headquarters aimed at combating the illicit sale of fireworks, the police of Frascati police station they seized a large quantity of illegally detained fireworks, some of which were artisanal, and reported in a state of freedom a 57-year-old man.
The same man, during a street check, was found with some fireworks in the car. Immediately afterwards one was carried out house search which led to the discovery of other pyrotechnic material belonging to categories F2, F3, F4 and IV, as well as other devices, not corresponding to any category, such as “onions” and handcrafted cylindrical artefacts of various types. The material was marked with fancy names like “Cobra 100”, “Diabolik”, Rambo, “Rambo 2” e “Fire Storm”.
In all they were seized 441 pieces, within which the presence of was calculated 130 kg total of gunpowder.
