Massafra (Taranto), anti-drug operation. Three kilos of hashish and two of marijuana seized. A 32-year-old arrested

The State Police, during a complex anti-drug operation in the Ionian province, arrested a 32-year-old criminal because he was considered presumed responsible for the crime of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
The activity of the Falcons of the Flying Squad has also extended to the Ionian province.

Targeted investigations have allowed us to gather useful evidence to believe that a 32-year-old from Massafra, already known to the police for his specific drug dealing history, had resumed the illicit activity in his municipality.
During the long shadowing and stakeout operations, the Hawks noticed the suspect quickly moving around the alleys of the old town and the central Piazza Garibaldi on an electric bike to meet up with the many young people present in the area and make quick exchanges.

The police first cordoned off an area where the narcotic substance was presumed to be hidden, then they patiently waited for the 32-year-old to arrive.

The alleged drug dealer arrived on his bicycle, first looked around cautiously and then entered a basement inside an abandoned warehouse.
The police intervened immediately and stopped him as soon as he returned to the street.

The search of the premises had the desired effect: 30 blocks and approximately 150 pre-packaged doses of hashish were recovered in the warehouse for a total weight of approximately 3 kilograms and four cellophane bags containing marijuana in addition to approximately fifty pre-packaged doses of the same narcotic substance.

During the subsequent house search, the police recovered five grams of cocaine in a drawer of a bedside table in the bedroom.
After the documents were forwarded to the competent Judicial Authority, the 32-year-old was arrested and taken to the Taranto District Prison.
