Lucca, beats and segregates his partner: 39-year-old arrested

In the late morning of May 8th, in Lucca, the Carabinieri of the local station together with their colleagues from the Radiomobile Section, in compliance with a decree of suspension of a prison order issued by the Pisa surveillance office, they arrested a 39-year-old local man, convicted, who must serve a two-year prison sentence for the crime of domestic abuse.

The man, who had been subjected to the alternative measure of being placed on probation by social services, from April to May 6th, he would have mistreated his new partner, a local 32, subjecting her to continuous humiliation, beatings and death threats, which during the night between last Sunday and Monday they culminated in a real attack during which the 39-year-old slapped her and segregated her in the house until the following morning, when the woman, under the pretext of going to work, managed to leave the house and reach the Carabinieri barracks in the Cortile degli Svizzeri to ask help and subsequently, to go to the San Luca hospital in Lucca, where he was treated and where he was given a seven-day prognosis for the injuries he had suffered.

The epilogue of the story, however, arrived on the morning of May 8th, when the man tracked down and reached the 32-year-old at a friend's house, where she had gone to live following the last attack, and continued to threaten her with death until the intervention of a Carabinieri patrol and a State Police squad car, who however did not find him on the spot.

In the meantime, however, following this latest criminal case being examined by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Lucca, the Surveillance Office of Pisa has issued a decree suspending the order for the execution of the sentence, which 14:00 pm on May 8 was carried out by the Carabinieri of Lucca, who after the legal formalities, accompanied the 39-year-old to the Lucca prison.
