Lizzanello (Lecce), attacks his parents and sister who refuse him money for drugs: 45-year-old arrested

Once again it was decisive the intervention of the Carabinieri following of yet another episode of domestic violence.

This time the bitter epilogue fell to a 45-year-old that was it arrested in flagrante delicto, last night, by the Carabinieri of the Cavallino station as he was allegedly responsible for mistreatment against his parents and sister.

The probable cause of the dispute occurred shortly before and which required the intervention of the military, it would be due to possible problems related to drug use of an unemployed man.

In fact, the 45-year-old would have advanced yet another request for money from the parents e, to their denial, he would go into a rage and attack them physically and verbally.

Such incidents of domestic violence have also occurred in the past. The man was allegedly responsible for similar episodes of violence against them but everything remained within the home, as often happens. This time though the situation degenerated and the Carabinieri intervened that at the end of the investigations and after completing the formalities they arrested the man who, as ordered by the PM on duty at the Public Prosecutor's Office of Lecce who is conducting the investigations, was taken to the prison of the Salento capital.

It is important to underline that the proceedings are at the preliminary investigation stage and that, upon execution of the precautionary measure, the guarantee interrogation will follow and the confrontation with the defense of the suspect, whose possible guilt, in relation to the alleged crime, must be ascertained during the trial in the cross-examination between the parties.
