Lecco, brawl between the Meridiana and the station: two young people expelled from public places with DASPO
Lecco, following the episodes of violence recorded in the last few days in Lecco, on the basis of the first investigative findings which are still in progress, the Police Commissioner of Lecco has adopted two measures prohibiting access to public establishments and staying near them, against two young people, actively involved in the fight that broke out last Tuesday 15 June near the Meridiana and ended at the local train station.
The investigative activities made it possible to ascertain the full involvement of the young people, two brothers from Ecuador aged 25 and 26, who following the brawl also suffered injuries which required them to be transported to the local hospital.
The current legislation, in addition to judicial measures, provides the possibility for the Police Commissioner, in the event of the commission of crimes against the person by subjects already burdened by criminal records, to adopt the prevention measure of the ban on access to public establishments for a minimum period of six months and a maximum of two years.
A ban on access to all public establishments within the territory of the province of Lecco was therefore provided for one of the two subjects for two years, while for the second a ban on access was provided, again for two years, to public establishments. of the municipality of Lecco.
Violation of the aforementioned provisions is criminally sanctioned with imprisonment from six months to two years and a fine from 8.000 to 20.000 euros.
Further activities are underway to identify all the participants in the brawl, who will be referred to the AG and whose individual position will be investigated for the purposes of applying the aforementioned prevention measure.
