Licata, wanders the street drunk with a truncheon and a katana

Licata (Agrigento), yesterday the State Police intervened in Piazza Elena where, shortly before, the presence of a person in an evident state of intoxication had been reported.

The men of the Commissariat, in fact, during a territorial control service for the repression of crimes, generally went to that square, where the person, in an evident state of drunkenness, staggering and with a heavy vinous breath, was found in possession of a Tonfa model truncheon and another object apparently a stick, which from subsequent investigations turned out to instead be a katana-type sword with sheath.

The workers, after various attempts at convincing, managed to have the objects delivered by the man and identify him. PA born in '68 of Austrian nationality, effectively domiciled at his boat moored inside the tourist port of Licata, was therefore referred to the AG for the crime of unjustified carrying of objects capable of offending and the objects in question placed under seizure.
