Licata, a young man reported for unjustified possession of objects capable of offending
Agrigento, during a police activity aimed at the prevention and repression of crimes, personnel from the Licata police station, on patrol duty, while passing along a central road in the city centre, ordered the driver of a moped to stop, with two young people on board.
The Agents, since the young people from Lilica aroused suspicion as they were particularly nervous and given that various commercial activities exist near that place, subjected them to a personal search which gave a positive result.
Indeed, on the vehicle driven by one of the young people, and precisely inside the glove compartment and in the immediate availability of the aforementioned, 2 long knives were found, for which he did not provide valid reasons justifying their carrying outside the own home.
Therefore, given the serious indications of guilt, the young owner of the moped was referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Agrigento as he was responsible for the crime of unjustified carrying of objects capable of offending
