Lecce, cocaine hidden in a package of toys.

Last October 7, the agents of the Nardò Police Station, following a report, went to a shipping company in Galatone (LE), where a logistics intermediary for international shipments of an online platform had expressed your doubts regarding an international package from Holland received by courier.

The man, following the instructions on the accompanying document, should have opened the package, but during the course of his duties he realized that the weight of the box was excessive compared to the contents and thus alerted the State Police.

Once on site, the officers inspected the package and inside they found two further sealed packages containing light plastic toys intended for children, but the weight of the box was actually excessive compared to the contents. 

So they began to dissect the walls of the packaging and discovered, hidden inside, polycarbonate panels containing cocaine (weight approximately 3 kg).
