Laglio (Como), they delivered drugs in “delivery drivers”. Two arrests by the State Police
The State Police arrested two Albanian citizens, aged 20 and 24, both living in a hotel in the municipality of Laglio (Como), for drug dealing.
The Como Flying Squad, in the context of the services aimed at contrasting and repressing the phenomenon of drug dealing, in recent weeks has concentrated its attention on an Albanian couple living in a B&B in Laglio (Como) who, according to police investigations, were believed to be the promoters of a thriving and well-organized cocaine dealing business, which served the northern outskirts of Como, Cernobbio and the towns along the western shore of the lake.
In fact, on Saturday, the investigators of the Flying Squad decided to closely follow the movements of the two suspected pushers who, on board a car - a Ford Fiesta registered to a man from Como - went to the parking lots of various supermarkets in the area, between Tavernola (Como) and Cernobbio, briefly meeting with some waiting individuals.
The agents, after having documented the actual existence of the drug dealing activity, carried out a check near a bar in Carate Urio, where the two Albanians had then gone probably to make a further delivery of drugs.
During the inspection carried out on the car in their use, the police found, hidden in the steering wheel cover, some doses of cocaine for a total of 10 and a half grams and in a glove compartment cash equal to 540 euros.
From Carate Urio the police then moved to the B&B where the two were staying and proceeded to search their accommodation where, well hidden in a container, they found another 60 grams of cocaine divided into doses ready for sale and approximately 2500 euros believed, like the others, to be the proceeds of drug dealing, as well as various materials suitable for weighing and packaging the drugs.
Once taken to the police station, the two Albanians were identified: the 20-year-old had specific police records and both had no work activity.
Once the seizure of the narcotic substance, money and equipment found was completed, on the basis of the fundamental elements collected, they were arrested for drug dealing in competition.
Informed of the arrests, the PM on duty ordered that the two Albanians be taken to the Como prison.
