Ispica, Ragusa. 4 marijuana plants grown indoors found at the home of a 34-year-old. Arrested.

Last Tuesday morning the soldiers of the Ispica station, during a service aimed at repressing drug dealing in the Ispicese area, they arrested a 34-year-old local man in flagrante delicto of cultivation and possession of narcotic substances, cohabitant, worker and with specific precedents in the matter.

The man, made aware of the law faculties, was subjected to a personal and home search at his home, inside which they found 52 grams of marijuana, 13 grams of seeds of the same narcotic substance, 4 "indica hemp" plants with an average height of approximately 80 centimeters and a total weight of 1 kg, grown in an "indoor" system, and 1 precision scale.

All the material found was subjected to criminal seizure. With the participation of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ragusa, the arrested person was placed under house arrest. On March 15th the arrest was validated by the Ragusa Court.

The judicial police activity demonstrates, in its most concrete form, how incisive and necessary the presence of the force is in the territory of the jurisdiction, in such a way as to have knowledge of the various criminal developments that spread in the various social realities of the city. The goal that the men of the Army are tasked with achieving on a daily basis can once again be said to have been achieved.
