International terrorism: two citizens of Syrian origin arrested in Olbia.
Ad Olbia, the policemen of the Digos, coordinated by colleagues from the Central Prevention Police Directorate, arrested two people of Syrian origin by association with the purpose of terrorism international.
Investigators discovered that those arrested were part, from 2014 to 2018, of an organization that throughhawala, a method of exchanging money that originates from traditional Islamic law, fed the Syrian fighting militias who opposed the Assad regime with the indiscriminate use of violence, regardless of the involvement of defenseless civilians.
Furthermore, during the investigations they emerged oath videos, of military exercises, of exaltation of victories, of war scenes with explosions and gunshots, whose common thread was the celebration of the revolutionary forces fighting, with violence, the Syrian regime.
