In Genoa, extraordinary control of the territory: 608 people identified and 17 public businesses checked.

Genoa. Yesterday 1 December 2023, a so-called operation was carried out. “Alto Impatto” in the Historic Center – Prè delegation. The operation saw the use of all Police Forces, Local Policeand and the participation of ASL, in order to guarantee an integrated approach to the various critical issues identified.

The joint activity made it possible to carry out targeted checks to combat petty crime, drug dealing and consumption, presence of citizens illegal aliens.
Specific interventions were then carried out control at commercial and hospitality establishments and high penalties.

In particular:

n. 249 between law enforcement, local police and ASL operators employed for the service
n. 608 the people identified and controlled
n. 17 the controlled public businesses, of which n. 2 closed by the ASL
n. 7 identified irregular workers
n. 33 the people reported, of which 19 to the administrative authority
n. 69 the vehicles checked
n. 15 the disputed violations of the highway code.

The capillary action implemented by the police forces, already tested with the "high impact" services carried out last October 5th and November 9th, aims to restore legality and increase the level of safety for all citizensie it will be followed by similar initiatives in other areas of the metropolitan area. The Prefect expressed to Police Commissioner and the Commanders of the other Police Forces appreciation for the activity carried out.
