“If I catch you with someone, I'll kill you both!”: precautionary measures for a 35-year-old Macedonian for mistreatment and threats.

The Carabinieri of the Molinella Company (BO) have carried out an application order of the precautionary measure of removal from the family home and the ban on approaching the offended person, against a 35-year-old Macedonian, resident in Altedo.
The man, a worker, with a police record, was investigated for persecutory acts and illicit interference in private life committed against his wife, a 31-year-old Macedonian, resident in Altedo. The precautionary measure was issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Bologna, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bologna, following a persecutory activity that the man had resumed against the woman who a year ago, he had already reported him for mistreatment. At the time of the facts, the man had been investigated and sentenced to 1 year, 5 months and 10 days of imprisonment, with the conditional suspension of the sentence, subject to participation in recovery courses. On this occasion, the woman had allowed him to return to the family home to be close to her two children aged 4 and 12. A few months ago, however, despite the sentence received, the 35-year-old, blinded by jealousy and refusing the consensual separation that the woman wanted to end the marital relationship, he started stalking her again and threatening her with phrases like: "If I catch you with someone, I'll kill you both!", "I'll follow you to find out where you're going!". Furthermore, fearing he would be betrayed, he had placed a digital recorder in her purse to listen to her conversations. At that point, the woman, having noticed the recorder and fearing for her safety, had turned to the Carabinieri to ask for help and on this occasion had filed a complaint for persecutory acts and illicit interference in private life, handing the digital device over to the military who they had seized. The Carabinieri, after having tracked down the man, notified him of the precautionary measure.
