Como: State Police issues Daspo at the end of the Como – Fiorentina football match
The State Police, on the occasion of the football match "COMO 1907 A- ACF FIORENTINA” valid for the 2024/2025 Serie “A” football championship at the city stadium “G. Sinigaglia”, issued a DASPO against a German citizen.
At the end of the match, the man climbed over the fence separating the playing field, invading it. The author of the gesture, it was immediately blocked and fully identified thanks to the immediate investigations carried out by the DIGOS personnel of the Como Police Headquarters, assisted by the steward staff who promptly intercepted the "intruder", who turned out to be a 24 year old German citizen who had followed the football match in the distinguished sector with a regular ticket.
The young man was immediately the recipient of the order prohibiting him from accessing places where sporting events take place – DASPO – issued by the Como Police Chief Marco Calì, following an urgent investigation by specialists from the Anti-Crime Division, which will prevent him from following the Como team for years, at the city stadium, at the sports centre where it trains, and extended for the same period of time, to matches played in other facilities, as well as to places involved in the same events.
The football match and the subsequent outflow of fans, in terms of public order and safety, however, took place without any critical issues.
