The State Police arrested two boys of Moroccan origins because they were deemed responsible, in conjunction, for the crimes of resistance to PU, refusal of information on their personal identity requested by a Public Official and one of the two also for alleged injuries.

The policemen from the Martina Franca police station intervened following the report, received by Operations Room 113, of a heated argument between young people inside a Bed and Breakfast in Martina Franca.

On site, the Flying Squad Agents verified, inside a room, the presence of four young people originally from North Africa in a clear state of alteration who were arguing heatedly with each other: one of them also had a noticeable cut on his left forearm. Furthermore, on the floor of the bedroom, bathroom and corridor there were blood substances, shards of glass and, furthermore, some furnishings had been destroyed. Two of the four young people, after refusing to give their personal details, attacked the police. With many difficulties, the officers managed to secure the two agitated men and arrested them. A team of the Scientific Police also intervened at the site of the intervention for the inspection and investigations of the case.

The owners of the Bed and Breakfast told investigators that the previous evening a boy of Moroccan origin had contacted them because he needed a room for the night and for this reason they had given him the keys to the apartment.

The next morning, the owners, after receiving numerous reports from the condominium owners of the building where the Bed and Breakfast is located, found that the room was occupied not only by the boy to whom they had rented it but also by three other of his compatriots. who were celebrating the young man's birthday together.

One of the two young men arrested was taken to the emergency room of the local hospital to have the cut on his forearm treated, for which he was unable to provide explanations to the officers as to how he had got it.
