An Italian man with multiple criminal convictions has been arrested for the crime of attempted improper robbery.

On the afternoon of Tuesday 9 May 2023, personnel from the Rimini State Police arrested an Italian man with multiple criminal convictions for the crime of attempted improper robbery.
At 16.45pm, a patrol car was sent to Viale Regina Margherita at a commercial establishment, as a call had arrived at the Emergency Number 112-NUE reporting a troublesome man who was going into a rage.
Once on site, the officers intercepted the subject in question and ascertained that the latter, shortly before, had gone into a convenience store, after consuming some snacks, and tried to leave without paying the bill. The man, invited to pay the bill by the shop owner, reacted by pushing the latter violently to the ground. Then, going to a second convenience store, he continued his criminal conduct, and without paying for the food consumed, he punched the second shopkeeper.
The subject, immediately blocked by the policemen, refused to provide his personal details and acted in a harassing and aggressive manner, lashing out at them, punching and kicking them. In light of what emerged, the man was arrested and subsequently taken to the local prison available to the AG.
In relation to the events that occurred, the individual was also released into a state of freedom for refusing information on his personal identity and resisting PU.
