Grigno (Trento): kidnapping, robbery, threats and violence against a 29-year-old. 33-year-old Albanian arrested.

In the early afternoon of Friday July 5, Grigno, in the province of Trento, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Commands of Padua, Treviso, Vicenza and Trento, as a result of a coordinated and timely investigative activity which ended with a synergistic intervention, they arrested a 33 year old Albanian citizen, resident in the Treviso area, for the crimes of kidnapping, aggravated robbery, aggravated threat, private violence and violation of the order prohibiting one from approaching places frequented by the injured party, committed against a fellow countryman 26enne of the province of Padua.

The events began around hours 08.30in borgoricco, in the province of Padua, when the victim, on board his car, while he was accompanying his 5 year old son to nursery school, was joined by the suspect, who, under the threat of a knife, although the recipient of a recent precautionary measure of the approach ban issued from the Judicial Authority of Treviso for the crime of persecution, forced the woman to stop, he got behind the wheel of the vehicle, taking with him the child and the mother, who was meanwhile immobilized by plastic bands around her ankles.

After about half an hour, the woman's husband, alarmed by his wife's failure to return home, alerted the Carabinieri of the Cittadella Company on the 112 user, in the province of Padua, who immediately contacted the lady, who, evidently threatened by the man, she found herself forced to provide evasive answers to the soldier at the Operations Center.

Sensing the victim's state of apprehensionHaving sensed the situation in all its drama, the operator promptly launched a search for the car in which the kidnapper, the woman and the child were. The chase continued for almost a hundred kilometres when, in the Grigno area, in the province of Trento, the complex device set up by the Carabinieri managed to locate the fleeing car which was blocked by a simultaneous intervention carried out jointly by the soldiers of the Bassano del Grappa Companies, in the province of Vicenza and of Borgo Valsugana, in the province of Trento.

The suspect was arrested while the woman and her little son, in strong shock emotional, but fortunately unharmedwas made safe.

Conducted at the offices of Carabinieri Company of Borgo Valsuganaat the end of the activities, the arrested person was taken to the Trento prison, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority of that capital.
