Genoa, Police foil attempted robbery of woman: 30-year-old arrested

In Via Gramsci, 02,05am on Sunday, The Genoa State Police arrested a 30-year-old for the crime of attempted robbery.

During the usual patrolling service in the Historic Center area, the policemen of the General Public Assistance Prevention Office cars they heard screams coming from the area below the elevated road and saw the 30-year-old man tugging at a woman to steal her wallet. Promptly intervened they blocked him and placed him safely inside the service car.  The woman, who appeared very shaken and scared, refused medical treatment. The man was judged this morning with a very direct rite.
