Genoa, he steals a woman's cell phone in a stopped taxi: 26-year-old arrested

The State Police arrested a 26-year-old in Piazza Cavour at 22pm, not resident in Genoa, for the crime of theft by snatching.

To request the intervention of the General Prevention Office police officers (UPG) a woman who said she had been robbed of her smartphone, while she was sitting in the back seat of a taxi stopped on Via della Marina.

A stranger approached her and then having opened the door for her had violently snatched the cell phone from her hands. Immediately i police officers intervened they started looking for the man, finding him not far away in via San Lorenzo.

Once stopped, Was found in possession of the recently stolen phone and a piece of hashish for which he was administratively sanctioned.

Soon after, in the offices of the Police Headquarters, the victim of the mugging was invited to whom the stolen phone was returned.

Today, the 26-year-old was judged in a very direct manner.
