Genoa: Threatens girlfriend with knife, reported.

The Cornigliano Police Station patrol reported a 34-year-old foreigner for the crime of aggravated threats, also sanctioning him administratively for possession of narcotics.

The operators intervened after the request for help from a citizen who, inside a house, had witnessed a violent argument between a couple of relatives during which the man had beaten and threatened the woman with death, brandishing a large kitchen knife with 21 cm blade. Immediately intervening, the operators stopped the attacker and seized the weapon which had already been secured by the witness.

Inside the house, a plastic package containing 3,70 g of hashish was also found, which the 34-year-old admitted to possessing for personal use.

The woman, who had a slight scratch on her neck and complained of pain in her head, was transported by ambulance to the emergency room of the Micone hospital.
