Genoa: they break into an elderly woman's house and try to rob her, two young men arrested.
The State Police arrested two young people, both non-residents of Genoa, aged 19 and 23 for the crime of attempted burglary, also reporting the former for unjustified possession of altered keys and lock picks.
The elderly woman's daughter requested police intervention, who in turn had been alerted by an alarmed witness because she had noticed two unknown women in the doorway who had rang the doorbell of the sick elderly lady and had managed to get the door to open.
The daughter managed to reach her mother's house, inside which the two girls were still present, intent on inspecting the rooms.
Thanks to the timely intervention of the police, the two were immediately blocked without even having time to attempt to escape. Under her clothes the youngest was found in possession of various lock picks and a thin plate, an object usually used in the commission of apartment burglaries, to open doors.
