Genoa: Abuse and violence against ex, 25-year-old repeat offender arrested

The agents of the Cornigliano Police Station have arrested a 25enne of the place, in execution of a precautionary custody order in prison issued by the Court of Genoa.

The young man, already convicted of the same crime committed against another woman, was once again found responsible for serious mistreatment and stalking of his ex-girlfriend.

Throughout their relationship and even after the end of the relationship, he systematically abused his very young girlfriend, constantly maintaining violent behavior with repeated conduct, causing her a serious state of anxiety and a well-founded fear for her safety, such as to force her to change her lifestyle.

The young woman, at the height of an escalation of violence that lasted more than a year, found the courage to report it, going to the offices of the Cornigliano Police Station.

The operators trained to welcome victims of violence have also started activities for psychological support, as per the Protocols in force, with the ASL: The 25-year-old was sent to prison of Marassi.
