Gaza, women held hostage raped and left pregnant. Anti-polio campaign begins.

The Israeli army has found several bodies in Gaza, which may belong to Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas. The recovery and identification operations of the remains continue, in a context already aggravated by a shocking video from the Hostages' Families Forum, which suggests that some of the kidnapped women were raped, may have become pregnant and given birth in the tunnels of Gaza.

The video, blocked by censors but partially published by Channel 12, has raised serious concerns and accusations against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is accused of risking the lives of hostages to maintain control of the Philadelphia Corridor, a crucial strip of land between Gaza and Egypt.

Despite opposition from some senior Israeli security officials, Netanyahu approved maps to maintain a military presence in the area.

In Israel, the issue has sparked a wave of protests, with thousands taking to the streets of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, demanding new elections. Meanwhile, the Israeli army has stepped up anti-terrorist operations in the West Bank, killing dozens of militants and arresting others as wanted men, while Hamas and Islamic Jihad have praised terrorists who have carried out attacks on Israeli settlements.

Meanwhile, a polio vaccination campaign has begun in Gaza, made possible by “humanitarian pauses” agreed upon by Israel and Hamas.
