Gallarate (Varese), accused of abusing a student: a 24-year-old foreigner expelled

In the month of May the Gallarate State Police, following a report from school staff at a secondary school of Gallarate in this regard to an alleged abuse of a minor student by a neighbor, ha initiated an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Busto Arsizio.

The suspected perpetrator of the abuse was identified and, on 25 June, a local and IT search decree was executed against the suspect, a twenty-four year old illegal foreigner in Italy, living in Cassano Magnago, without a job and with numerous police records including for drug dealing. It was also ascertained that the man had already escaped a repatriation attempt in the recent past.

Once the Judicial Police activities have been completed and the authorization from the Judicial Authority has been received, the foreigner was placed at the disposal of the Immigration Office of the Varese Police Headquarters.

Following the issuing of the Prefect's expulsion decree and having assessed the man's objective social danger, the Police Chief of Varese ordered the immediate execution of the administrative provision. It was then prepared by the Immigration Office of the Varese Police Headquarters a targeted service with adequate staff, and escorted the man on the flight home, at the end of which he was handed over to the local authorities.
