Forlì: in their home they had hashish, cocaine and material for their packaging, a 49-year-old and a 51-year-old arrested by the Carabinieri.

In their home they had 12,6 kilograms of hashish and 100 grams of cocaine, as well as packaging material. Two Italians arrested and considered the presumed responsible for the crime of "possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing".

During a targeted operation aimed at combating and repressing the consumption and trafficking of narcotic substances, the Carabinieri of the Castrocaro Terme Station, assisted by their colleagues from the Operations Section of the Forlì Company, carried out an important operation in the Montone Valley area.

The suspects were arrested at the end of a complex and detailed investigative activity that led to the discovery of 12,6 kilograms of hashish and 100 grams of cocaine, as well as equipment for weighing and packaging in doses. All the seized material was made available to the Judicial Authority.
At the validation hearing, the GIP of the Court of Forlì ordered the precautionary measure of detention in prison for the 49-year-old, while for the 51-year-old, the restrictive measure of house arrest.

Subsequent investigative activities allowed us to identify a network of individuals in the valley, presumably linked to those arrested, and to reconstruct in detail their illicit activity.

The searches, delegated by the Judicial Authority and conducted in several municipalities of the Forlì area in the early hours, with the use of numerous military personnel and canine units, led to the seizure of further quantities of narcotic substances, including pink cocaine, hashish and marijuana.
