Follonica: drug dealers' hideout in the woods dismantled.

Staff of the Carabinieri Company of Follonica together with forestry colleagues from the Massa Marittima Unit and agents of the Local Police Force of the Municipality of Follonica carried out a control service in the wooded area present in the “Valli” area.

The activity was triggered by multiple reports of the presence in the area of ​​individuals camping and dealing in narcotics.

During the raid, 2 camps were found spaced a few hundred meters apart. The occupants could not be traced but there were signs of recent residence on site such as tents, foodstuffs, clothing and various objects as well as large amounts of rubbish of various types.

The entire area was then reclaimed by personnel from the local municipality and Sei Toscana who removed the abandoned material.
