Floridia, 17.000 euros in fines for violation of the Highway Code. A young man reported for possession of homemade explosives and cartridges.

Over the last week, the Floridia Carabinieri have carried out checks to prevent and repress crimes. 14 fines were imposed for violations of the Highway Code, in particular for driving without a helmet, using a mobile phone while driving, driving without an inspection, driving with an expired or never obtained license, for a total of approximately 17 thousand euros in fines. Furthermore, 3 vehicles that were circulating without RCA coverage were seized and over 80 points were deducted.

Four local subjects were reported to the Aretusea Public Prosecutor's Office: a young man, with a criminal record, for illegal possession of ammunition and explosive material as, following a house search, he was found in possession of 2 homemade explosives weighing approximately 250 grams each and 2 12 gauge cartridges; one man, for illegal possession of a knife, while two criminals, for driving under the influence with consequent withdrawal of the driving license and seizure of the vehicle.

Finally, seven subjects were reported to the Prefecture of Syracuse for personal use of narcotic substances because they were found in possession of small quantities of cocaine, hashish and marijuana.
