First day of the year dedicated to safety with the coordinated service of the Carabinieri: five people reported.

Caserta. A start to the year dedicated to security and legality for the city of Caserta, where the 20 patrols of the Station and of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit employed by the local Carabinieri Company between the night of 31 December and yesterday made it possible to report, in a state of freedom, five peopleand held respectively responsible for escaping from house arrest, receiving stolen goods, illegal possession of weapons or objects capable of offending and possession of narcotics.

The two young men, of Tunisian nationality, reported for receiving stolen goods, they were caught on board a moped and own a smartphone, both proceeds of robbery occurred a few hours earlier against a young woman. Their localization was possible, following the complaint presented by the victim, thanks to the geolocation of the GPS device present in the phone. The vehicle and smartphone recovered they were returned to their rightful owners.

However, the minor stopped on the street for a check and found in possession of a switchblade will have to answer for illegal possession of weapons. The weapon was promptly seized.

The particular service also allowed us to identify 100 people and proceed with the inspection of 80 cars with the elevation of 18 fines to the highway code for a total amount of €17.750,00 and the seizure of 10 vehicles.
