Foggia: prevention and repression activities against commercial illegal activity

On 13 April the State Police, in synergy with the Local Police, in the context of inter-force services shared by the FF.PP., continued incessantly activities to combat urban decay, at the "Railway District", through checks aimed at prevention and repression of forms of commercial abuse and widespread illegality.

Following the aforementioned activities, the Police Commissioner of Foggia decreed the suspension temporary license, pursuant to art. 100 TULPS, for a total of 15 (fifteen) days, in relation to one of the commercial activities with a supply and serving license, taking over the aforementioned business the usual meeting of subjects burdened by police records and finding themselves inside the business, with the contribution of the canine units of the Guardia di Finanza, narcotic substance of the type hashish for a quantity equal to gr. 18,00pm.

The censorship measure was adopted on a prudential basis to ensure greater safety in the relevant area, together with the carrying out of increasingly stringent control and supervision activities with the active contribution of the Local Police.

The entire week was dedicated to maximizing the verification and control activities of that urban area, coordinating the inter-force interventions during the Technical Roundtable held at the Police Headquarters.

The result of the aforementioned operational initiative which saw the police forces engaged in several days of activity in the Railway District, resigned overall: 453 subjects identified; 98 vehicles control yourself; 30 commercial establishments verified; 3 administrative seizures of counterfeit goods (food and non-food sectors) for a total of no. 26739 pieces; 5 administrative seizures of narcotic substances, for a total of gr. 13,214 of hashish and gr. 2,100 of marijuana; 4 report to the Prefect of Foggia, pursuant to art. 75 Presidential Decree 309/90; 1 criminal seizure, ex art. 354 criminal code, against unknown persons, of narcotic substance of the hashish type, for a total of gr. 18,00pm; 1 DPL pursuant to art. 73 Presidential Decree 309/90; 2 administrative sanctions, ex art. 12 Consumer Code of €1032,00 each; 7 complaints to the CDS; 1 administrative seizure of a vehicle without insurance coverage; 1 removal order of the Commissioner.

Prevention and repression activities against urban degradation will continue seamlessly, satisfying the safety needs represented by residents.
