Crotone, beating of Davide Ferrerio: two women, mother and daughter, arrested.

Police arrested a 41-year-old woman and her 17-year-old daughter in Crotone as part of the investigations into theassault against Davide Ferrerio, the 20-year-old from Bologna in a coma after suffering a beating in Crotone last year August 11th.

The young man was on holiday in the Calabrian city, his mother's place of origin. While he was in a street in the center, he was chased and beaten with a knee to the stomach and a punch to the face, ending up hitting his head on the asphalt.

The two women arrested today are considered seriously suspected of having provided an active and conscious contribution to the attack suffered by the young man. They would have been the ones to cover the 22-year-old attacker who had already ended up in handcuffs.

The investigations, conducted in the months following the beating, would have made it possible to collect elements such as to suggest that their contribution to the attack was active and conscious, so much so that, at the request of the public prosecutor's office of Crotone, the investigating judge issued a precautionary measure on charges of complicity in attempted murder.

The mother ended up in prison, while the minor daughter was confined in a family home.
