Before that day the woman had never filed any complaints, but seeing the situation worsening and, fearing for her safety, on that occasion she had decided to present a detailed complaint to the Carabinieri who intervened. He had explained that, starting from her marriage and on a constant basis, she had been threatened with death and beaten with belts and sticks. The Carabinieri of Casalmaggiore, having concluded the reconstruction of the facts, had reported the outcome of the investigation to the Judicial Authority which had issued a provision aimed at protecting the victims, ordering its removal from the family home and the prohibition to approach the wife and children, their home, the woman's workplace and any places frequented.

But all this was not enough to stop him. In fact, the nights of May 11, June 14 and September 2, 2022 he had been caught and arrested for violating the measure that had been applied. They had stopped in the area and they had seen him leave his wife's house, stopping him, taking him to the police station and declaring him under arrest for three times. For these three violations he had already been convicted and had served the relative sentences. instead, the sentence of conviction for the crime of mistreatment in the family has now been issued.
